The Team
Our team is steadily growing and this is entirely due to personal recommendations based on excellent outcomes, good service and legal expertise.
The size of the team means that there will always be someone at the end of a telephone ready to help with your case.
You will have a dedicated adviser who will conduct your case from start to finish – they’ll know the history and development of the matter as it progresses.
The department has members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), which shares good practice and considers new developments in Personal Injury law for the benefit of members.
Lee Massingham LLB (hons), partner
Lee Massingham heads up the firm’s civil law department and qualified as a solicitor in 2002.
A graduate of John Moores University, he joined James Murray in 2000 and has been a Partner with the firm since 2005.
Lee has vast experience in pursuing claims for people injured in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and trips or slips in public places.
Lee is also the head of the firm’s Actions Against the Police Department in which he deals with claims against the police for assault.

Paul Rogan LLB (hons), solicitor
A graduate of John Moores University and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester. Paul qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and has over 10 years experience in personal injury law. We were extremely pleased to recruit such an experienced solicitor to the firm in November 2008.

Liza Connolly LLB (hons), solicitor
Liza qualified as a solicitor in January 2009 after obtaining a law degree at Liverpool John Moores University, followed by progression through the Legal Practice Court at the College of Law at Chester.
She specialises in personal injury and is very experienced in pursuing claims of this nature and has been with the firm since 2005.

Emma Leary LLB (hons), solicitor
Emma joined the civil team in April 2006, after obtaining a Law degree and completing the Legal Practice Course at Liverpool John Moore’s University.
She specialises in personal injury arising out of accidents at work, road traffic accidents and trips and slips. Emma also has a vast amount of experience in dealing with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority when assisting victims of violent crimes.
